About

My goal is to grow in system administration and the DevOps domain, with a strong focus on automation, CI/CD processes, Linux-based infrastructure and cloud solutions. I’m also interested in computer networks and IT security.

Practically, I focus on the full environment lifecycle, including:

Standardization and environment separation (containerization) Unifying how applications are run and isolating environments to increase repeatability and predictability of deployments.
Monitoring and analysis of metrics and operational data Collecting and analyzing system data to assess health and detect issues faster.
Infrastructure optimization for performance, scalability and stability Adjusting system configurations and resources to real workloads and operational requirements.
Automation of operational and deployment processes Reducing manual work by automating tasks, including with Python.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux system services Working with system services, log analysis and problem-solving in test and project environments.

Technical areas I work with through learning, personal projects, and test environments-developing practical administrative and engineering skills.

Containerization and orchestration (Docker, MicroK8s) Hands-on work with application containerization and building container-based environments. MicroK8s is used in my lab to learn orchestration, cluster management, and Kubernetes fundamentals.
Virtualization and lab infrastructure (Proxmox, Hyper-V) Building and maintaining virtualization-based test environments, including creating virtual machines, managing resources and preparing infrastructure for further experiments (containers, CI/CD).
Networking and connectivity Learning networking basics in virtual and container environments, including IP addressing, DNS, routing, ports and firewalls and communication between services and components in the lab.
Cloud environments (Microsoft Azure - fundamentals) Learning the basics of working with Microsoft Azure in test environments, including launching virtual machines, configuring networks, and integrating selected cloud components with the local lab.
Monitoring and system analysis (Prometheus, Nagios, ELK) Learning to monitor infrastructure and applications in test environments, including collecting metrics, logs and operational data. Working with Prometheus for metrics, Nagios for service monitoring and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log analysis and visualization.
Automation, CI/CD and DevOps processes Learning deployment automation, working with pipelines, and integrating tools that support the application lifecycle, with an emphasis on repeatability and environment standardization.
Linux and Windows administration (Active Directory) Learning OS configuration and management of users, services and permissions as the foundation for working with infrastructure and application environments.
IT support and ticket handling Practicing troubleshooting, root cause analysis and basic user support, while considering how infrastructure changes impact end-user environments.
